A Genovese specialty made in the classic manner by pounding fresh basil, garlic and pine nuts with extra-virgin olive oil.
Ingredients:
Basil Leaves, Virgin Olive Oil, Garlic, Nuts, Iodized Salt
Ingredients:
• 10 ounces fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
• 6 ounces fresh sliced shiitake mushrooms
• 1/2 cup diced red onion
• 1/4 cup bacon bits
• 1 pound penne pasta
• Gourmet’s Pesto Sauce
1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
2. Spray a large non-stick saute pan with cooking
spray. Over medium
heat, cook onions and
mushrooms until tender.
3. Reduce heat to low, add
Gourmet’s Pesto Sauce
and heat until hot.
4. Toss pasta with sauce and bacon bits. Serve with
additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
